The Natural Resources Institute (NRI) is a specialist institute of the university of Greenwich. NRI provides research, consultancy, training and advisory services to underpin sustainable development, economic growth and poverty reduction. The majority of NRI’s activities focus on the harnessing of natural and human capital for the benefit of developing countries, though much of our expertise has proved to be of growing relevance to industrialized nations. The Natural Resources Institute (NRI) became part of the University of Greenwich in May 1996. NRI has evolved from the development and amalgamation of many parent organisations.
