Abanaitwe Winston (Ugandan) is the Programme Assistant, TVET and Industrial Linkages. Winston is a PhD student, a seasoned university Agriculture lecturer, a professional agriculture teacher and a community agricultural extensionist. He brings vast experience from his professional interaction with Public and private universities in Uganda, India, and Canada. His expertise in education, training, and skilling policy, Programme and project design, implementation, and evaluation laid the ground for his leadership in education policy development, review and analysis. 
Notably, Winston has played an active role in the Technical Vocational Education Policy review, analysis, and implementation in Uganda. His interaction with local and international education development agencies, and civil society, such as the World Bank, the European Union, and USAID, has tremendously built his wealth of knowledge and experience with charity and development agencies. His work with government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies in various interventions such as education, agriculture, and environment has enhanced his understanding of public policy and systems. His multi-stakeholder collaboration, synergy, networking, and partnership experience has made him a team player and leader in identifying beneficiary needs and developing appropriate interventions. With over 15 years of work with various both private and public organizations in education, community development and humanitarian space actors, Winston has a blend of public-private partnerships and development nexus empowerment which strengthens his dedication to enhancing sustainable inclusive, climate-sensitive job-creation and interventions through agriculture and cutting-edge education systems championing for strategic academic and other socio-economic contributions
