John worker Toywa was born on 1st July the year 1989 in Lukhokho village, Lugari- Sub-County, Kakamega County, Kenya. He joined Egerton University in 2010 to pursue Bachelor of Agribusiness Management and graduated in 2014 with a second honours class (upper division). In 2015, he got an opportunity to work with Chebwai Adventist College as a tutor. However, his interest to pursue further education could not allow him to continue working. In 2016, he resigned and joined Egerton University to pursue Master of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics. He has served in various leadership positions in church and learning institutions. For instance, during his undergraduate education he was appointed to serve as a class representative. He has also served in the same capacity during his post graduate studies. His interest is to venture into the academia world and work hard in order to build up his profession. He is grateful to TAGDev program for the support accorded in clearing the fee balance which was a barrier in submission of his research dissertation for external examination. He is also grateful to all well-wishers, friends and family members who have helped him reach this far
