African Journal of Rural Development

The African Journal of Rural Development ( AFJRD) is an open access online journal published 2-3 times a year. It publishes on both academic and non-academic action research issues. Multidisciplinary in nature, the primary purpose of the journal is to share knowledge on all aspects that contribute to sustainable rural development especially in Africa. It aims to share lessons and experiences on working with rural communities to improve agricultural productivity and livelihoods.   AFJRD is published by the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), with an Editorial Secretariat at Makerere University Kampala, Uganda .
