Ndejje University is a private university established by the Anglican Church, which is located in Kampala. It was established in 1992, and is the oldest private university in Uganda. The university received its charter from the Uganda Council of Higher Education in 2009; all of its programs are now recognized by the government of Uganda. The Faculty of Environmental and Agricultural Sciences offers undergraduate degrees in forest plantation and agroforestry; environment and natural resource management; forest science and environmental management; sustainable agriculture and extension; and agricultural entrepreneurship and farm management. The faculty also offers a diploma and certificate programs in sustainable agriculture and extension.
