Dr Elijah Nyakudya is the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Environment and Food Systems at the University of Zimbabwe. He is a Food/Bioprocess Engineer with over 23 years of academic and practical experience in food process engineering, food biotechnology and value addition technologies. Dr Nyakudya is a holder of PhD in Food/Bioprocess Engineering from Chonbuk National University, South Korea; MSc in Agrofood and Bioprocess Technology, Wageningen University, the Netherlands and BSc Honours Degree in Agricultural Engineering, University of Zimbabwe.
He has held various professional positions which include: Dean of Faculty of Agriculture Environment and Food Systems, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Agriculture Environment and Food Systems, Lecturer and Chairman of Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Engineering, University of Zimbabwe. He has extensive training, research and consultancy experience in food/bioprocess technology and agricultural equipment design. His currently the Chairman of the University of Zimbabwe AgroIndustrial Park Board of Management
