Biography
Honorable Dr. Itah is Namibia's the Minister of Higher Education, Training and Innovation, and the Member of the National Assembly of Republic of Namibia. She is a Member of the political party South-West Africa People's Organisation. Previously, she served as the Dean of Students at the University of Namibia (UNAM). Honorable Dr. Itah is a strong advocate for the new basic education curriculum that now has two exit levels to tertiary education institutions, namely the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) level, and the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level, both of which aim to improve the quality of learners leaving the basic education system and ensuring that learners progressively accumulate the requisite skills.
