The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM); a network of 163 universities in 40 African countries. RUFORUM with funding from Carnegie Corporation of New York invites applications from Senior Academics from Makerere University in Uganda, Universite Evangelique en Afrique in D.R. Congo and University of Juba in South Sudan to support 24-month post-doctoral fellowships for eight recently graduated Doctoral graduates (4 at Makerere and 2 each for the other two universities). The 24-month post-doctoral fellowships build on and help to scale up the RUFORUM commitment to strengthen postgraduate training and academic mobility in Africa. Since 2012, RUFORUM with support from Carnegie Cooperation of New York and other agencies has facilitated, mentored, and contributed to a growing number of doctoral graduates who upon completion of their studies return to their home countries and integrate back into teaching and research.
