University of Venda

The University of Venda is located in Thohoyandou in the Vhembe district of the Limpopo Province of South Africa, and was established in 1982. The School of Agriculture, Rural Development and Forestry has eight departments: agricultural economics and agribusiness; agricultural and rural engineering; animal science; consumer sciences; food science and technology forestry; horticulture sciences; plant production; and soil science. The School of Agriculture, Rural Development and Forestry offers degrees from the BSc. through the PhD. levels, although not in every department.
