Climate-Smart agripreneurship Education for Jobs and Sustainability in Western Africa (AgrBIZZ)

The project will cross-cut several general and regional priorities. Sustainable growth and jobs, especially enhancing employment opportunities by narrowing the competence miss-match between what is taught at HEIs and what is required in the world of work and enhancing entrepreneurial education, are in the core of the project.

Advancing Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains through Strengthening Transdisciplinary Skills and Cooperation in East African Doctoral Education (ADVALUE)’

The "Advancing Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains through Strengthening Transdisciplinary Skills and Cooperation in East African Doctoral Education" (ADVALUE) project is a collaborative initiative launched in January 2024, running until December 2026. Funded by the EU Erasmus+ program, the project aims to enhance doctoral education in agricultural sciences within East Africa, particularly in Kenya and Uganda.

Commercialisation of Academic Research Initiative (CARI)

Commercialisation of Academic Research Initiative (CARI) is funded by Government of Uganda and implemented in partnership with Busitema University, Islamic University in Uganda, Makerere University, Mbarara University of Science and Technology, and Nkumba University.  The overall objective of CARI is to strengthen the capacity of Ugandan universities to create a critical mass of fourth-industrial revolution-based enterprises from student and faculty research to create jobs and wealth.
