Otieno Naomi Akinyi

Otieno Naomi Akinyi is a post graduate student at Egerton University pursuing Master of Science in Horticulture. Otieno holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Horticulture from Egerton University. Her current research is supported by RUFORUM through TAGDev program and focuses on biological pest control on brassicas to contribute toward increased production of brassicas and also provide environmentally friendly insect pest management strategies for the pest.

Morris Maingi Mwatu

Morris Maingi Mwatu is a PhD Student at Egerton University Faculty of Environment and Resource Development. He studied at University of Nairobi where he attained Bachelors of Education degree in 2000 specializing in Geography and Commerce. He attained MSc degree from Egerton University in 2017 specializing in Geography. His master’s thesis title was: Effectiveness of Seasonal Climate Forecast in Agricultural Decision-Making among Smallholder Farmers in Semi-Arid Voi Sub-County, Kenya. He is currently pursuing Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geography.

Maurice Ogoma

Maurice Ogoma holds a Bachelor degree in Environmental Science from Egerton University, Kenya and Master of Science degree in Tropical Aquatic Ecology from University of Bremen, Germany. He has worked for National Museums of Kenya as a Research Fellow, Nature Kenya as a Conservation Program Officer and as a Senior Fisheries Officer at the Kenya’s Ministry of Fisheries Development. Currently, he is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Natural Resources, Egerton University and a PhD student at the Faculty of Environment and Resource Development (FERD).

Leila Akinyi Ndalilo

Leila Akinyi Ndalilo holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Environmental Studies (Community Development) from Kenyatta University. She is currently pursuing PhD studies in Natural Resource Management at Egerton University. She is a Research Scientist at Kenya Forestry Research Institute. Her research focus is integration of community perspectives into forestry research.

Richard Suyianka Kenana

Richard Suyianka Kenana was born in Narok County, Kenya. He is a Research officer working at Kenya Agricultural and Livestock research Organization. He has a certificate in Agriculture from Embu Institute of Agriculture and a Diploma in Tropical Animal Production and Extension from Larreinstein international Agricultural College Deventer, Netherlands.
